Project management is the keystone to successful project execution. The project manager provides the bridge between Orion’s resources and client expectations. He or she is a unique blend of experience, technical ability, communication skills, organization, and business savvy. A project manager understands the flow of information necessary for exceptional project execution but well beyond that is the ability to aid clients by identifying project risk and helping clients manage that risk. Our project managers are able to pave a path from project conception to a fully operational unit and then leverage Orion’s resources to ensure a high quality, economic project execution.
We pride ourselves in developing relationships that allow us to understand a particular client’s appetite for risk as well as each client organization’s abilities to manage that risk. Using this information and our knowledge of the current marketplace we are able to map out project execution strategies which maximize the ability of any client to manage a project’s risk. This includes everything from procurement strategies to construction contracts.
Orion also offers Document Control as a tool to manage documents/drawings for our clients. This reduces costs for the client and ensures the safety and security of project documents.
Orion Document Control includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Transmittal of engineering drawings and documents
- Documentation and tracking of vendor drawings
- Preparation, transmittal, and tracking of vendor bid packages
- Preparation of vendor documentation, equipment files, and equipment manuals
- Preparation of final closeout documents
